Music for the album was conducted by Belford Hendricks. My interesting tid bit about Hendricks is that he went by multiple names to avoid conflict between his own compositions during the high point of his career. Quite cool really.

I thought this album was good for the first track or two… then I was really done with it. I’m glad to have listen to this style and I can really appreciate the art, but I’m better in moderation with this. I do think some tracks would make a great theme song for some of my friends though.

If this came 2 weeks and a day later, I’d be dressing up from the 50′s and 60′s for Halloween and rocking around the clock!
This is one of the best recordings I have of Rock Around the Clock, all the version I have on CD’s feature a live version, while this is the studio version.
Of course, I’m also a Ramsey Lewis fan, so I dug the last track on side fifteen.
